redbull sc-1 not getting cold
I bought this from a guy and got it home, had it plugged up for about 12 hours, its not getting cold and making bubbling noises from inside. It only turned on when i first plugged it in, and has kicked back on since...

Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
That is the thermometer that the connects to the circuit board in the back of the fridge. If that piece stops functioning usually the fridge will just run and run and run and freeze the drinks in the fridge.
Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
Looking at your first post you may want to try a replacement overload sensor. It is a $10 replacement and it is a piece that commonly fails. If it goes bad the compressor usually won't turn on.
Update
Ok, I've left the friidge running for over about 30 hours now and last night i notice it was kicking on every so often and was decently cold inside, now Ive notice that its forming frost on the inside back cooling grid? And ice is forming. Its not terribly cold either. Is this an indication of a problem?

Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
The ice on the cooling piece is normal, but the fridge should be cold. Do you have drinks in there so you can tell if it is getting cold. It can be hard to tell my just sticking your hand in because the cool air dissipates quickly. Get a thermometer like this one [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] so you know really how cold it is getting, or if you don't want to do that at least put drinks in so you can tell if it is getting as cold as you would like.
At least you know it is cooling somewhat- that is a good sign. If you decide it isn't getting as cold as it should then check the overload switch- if it is damaged it can turn the compressor off too often.

Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
Ok, new issue... the fridge has been running for days now and though its not terribly cold in the fridge this thing is freezin all my drinks.
So it must be running way to much.
Any thoughts?
I dont have it against a wall or anything. One of the drinks almost exploded.

Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
Your thermostat is definitely bad. Hit up RBKyle- he can likely get you a replacement for that. The thermostat is not working so the fridge doesn't know when to shut off. It might not feel cold inside the fridge, but if it is freezing drinks then it definitely is cold.

You could also try this thermistor [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
No guarantees it will work, but for $10 it is a cheap fix to try if you can't locate an exact replacement quickly.

Re: redbull sc-1 not getting cold
I've circled the plug on the circuit board that runs to the temperature sensor currently in the photo below:

The idea is to use the electrical wiring that is already in place and just wire in a new temperature sensor. I've never done it before, but in theory if you find the right replacement temperature sensor you should be able to just cut off the old temperature sensor inside the fridge and splice in a new one. Can you post a pic of your replacement temperature sensor?
