used gdm-10 for sale in chicago

It currently cools fine, but it does have an issue. I'm no expert in refrigeration. But when a motor? Compressor? Condenser? Or whatever kicks on, it's Become rather noisy, so I'm assuming it's failing. It's been disconnected since that issue began, it cycles on and off, so that noisy part isn't always running.

i wish i would have know you guys had this forum, i could have sourced a repairman, or part....before i told the little lady i would get rid of it. now i have to find a smaller unit,

Sometimes a noisy fridge is just a fan which needs to be replaced which is a simple repair. If it is a compressor then it is a more difficult repair, but still may be able to be repaired. Good luck with the sale! If you were closer to UT i'd take it off your hands.

I really don't want to get rid of it, and my brother in law might be able to fix it, but I really need to make room. It's way too big for an apartment...I was told. I'm gonna try and pick up a smaller one.
